Still mistaken for a high schooler

Well I really don't have anything excitng to post so I thought I would share a somewhat humorous story.
So last Friday Dallas and I chaperoned "MORP" at my high school. It is a pretty easy job and somewhat fun to see my students in a different light. Anyway, Dallas had taken a quick break (to check the NCAA tourney scores) and so I was just walking around making sure all the dancing was appropriate. A slow song begins (You Raise Me Up- no less) and all the couples begin to dance. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I assume it is Dallas joking with me to try and get me to dance. Nope- instead it is a former student who looks at me and says "Wanna Dance?" Taken aback, I assumed he mistook me for someone else.... I told him I was a teacher (in case he forgot who I was). He nodded and again asked me to dance. I said "Oh no.... I am a teacher. That is not allowed." I asked him where his date was and he pointed and told me that he left her to come and ask me to dance. I had to tell him no again. He finally got the hint and pretended like I was stabbing him in the heart and walked away. It was pretty funny. I guess I must still look or act like a high schooler!
Hope all is well.

Lauren that is hilarous!! It must feel good sometimes to "be young!!" Being around so many little kids all the time I feel old sometimes...

That's the funniest story I've heard in a long time although I'm not at all surprised that you were asked to dance!
