Baby Pictures

Before you get the wrong idea, this blog is for others, not me. I doubt that you guys really care about all my family memebers so probably don't look at many of the links from my page, but my cousin had links to a really cool sight.

If you go to the one that is Jeremy&Britnie, etc, and go to last week, he has a link to a guy that does photography. There are some suggestions about how to take cooler pitures of children. Sarah, I thought you might find this especially interesting as you mentioned you might want to do some more pictures of children. Anyway, I don't know whether you might do anything about it or not, but I thought you would all like to know about it.

Still mistaken for a high schooler

Well I really don't have anything excitng to post so I thought I would share a somewhat humorous story.
So last Friday Dallas and I chaperoned "MORP" at my high school. It is a pretty easy job and somewhat fun to see my students in a different light. Anyway, Dallas had taken a quick break (to check the NCAA tourney scores) and so I was just walking around making sure all the dancing was appropriate. A slow song begins (You Raise Me Up- no less) and all the couples begin to dance. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I assume it is Dallas joking with me to try and get me to dance. Nope- instead it is a former student who looks at me and says "Wanna Dance?" Taken aback, I assumed he mistook me for someone else.... I told him I was a teacher (in case he forgot who I was). He nodded and again asked me to dance. I said "Oh no.... I am a teacher. That is not allowed." I asked him where his date was and he pointed and told me that he left her to come and ask me to dance. I had to tell him no again. He finally got the hint and pretended like I was stabbing him in the heart and walked away. It was pretty funny. I guess I must still look or act like a high schooler!
Hope all is well.

Macaroni Grill

So we had our tri-annual birthday meal at Macaroni Grill last Friday. It was sad to just have the three of us (Lauren, Sarah and me), but enjoyable none-the-less. We shared in the traditional water with lemon, yummy bread, usual meals (Sarah's was cheese-free due to differed pregnency taste buds), and of course the wonderful chocolate cake! It was all fabulous, per usual.

Afterward, since our husbands were all otherwise occupied, we went back to my house to chat for a while. We shared baby stories, told about our plans for the future, and reminised about stories from the past. It was all great and we all looked forward to a time when we can all be back together again.

Hailey, we thank you again for keeping us all so wonderfully updated on the happenings of your two adorable boys and the rest of your family.

Heide, we understand life must be pretty crazy as you try to get re-settled. Hope everything is going well for you and your little family.

Blog

Okay, I made a blog again. I think I'm going to do the emails and a blog. So those who like blogs better don't have to get the emails anymore. It's http://themcmillans.blogspot.com/. There's not much there now, I will probably just put the updates on there for now. Just FYI.

Quiz for Meg

Ok folks I don't know whether you actually go and look at my blog (and I don't care whether you do or not) but I wanted to let you know I made up a dumb quiz and put a link on it. Anyway, if you have a few seconds, you should take a look.

Hope all is well for everyone. I have Parent-Teacher Conferences this week and am totally not ready, so we'll see how I survive.
