Hello everyone,
I am not so good at this blog stuff- but I will try and improve. We just don't really have too much exciting stuff to tell! But I guess the fact that we decided on a dental school is pretty exciting. After lots of thought and prayer, we have decided to go to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. We never really expected to get in there in the first place so we hadn't really considered it too much. When we didn't get in to Nebraska (our 1st choice) and did get in to UNC, we felt pretty lucky. Both schools have very good reputations and are in cities that aren't too big. We've talked with about 4 LDS guys who are current dental students there and they only have good things to say about the place. We applied for family housing on campus and so now we just wait to here if we get to live there. I don't think it has really sunk in yet that I will be moving clear across the country in about 6 months, but I am excited. I am ready for change. Now if only I can get through this next semester of school!
Hope everyone is surviving this cold wave..... I think this is the coldest it has been in Utah since I've lived here!
